Alright, so I’ve been meaning to check out this Ghibli thing at the Yokohama Landmark Tower, and I finally made it happen. It’s a pretty cool spot, let me tell you.

First things first, I headed to Yokohama. I took the train, obviously. Got off, and there it was – the Landmark Tower. You can’t miss it, it’s massive. Once I found my way to the right floor, I saw all the Ghibli stuff.
They had a bunch of exhibits set up. I walked around, checking out all the different displays. There were posters, models, all sorts of things from the movies. I snapped a few pictures, but honestly, the lighting wasn’t great in some spots.
Main Attractions
- Posters and Art: They had a ton of original art and posters from the movies. I spent a good chunk of time just looking at all the details.
- Character Models: There were some cool models of characters and creatures from the films. I tried to get a good angle for a photo of Totoro, but it was kinda crowded.
- Movie Clips: They had a few screens playing clips from the movies. I stood around and watched a bit of “Spirited Away”, which is one of my favorites.
After I wandered through all the exhibits, I hit up the gift shop. They had a ton of merchandise – plushies, keychains, t-shirts, you name it. I ended up grabbing a little No-Face figurine. Couldn’t resist.
Overall, it was a fun little trip. If you’re a Ghibli fan, I’d say it’s worth checking out. Just be prepared for crowds, especially on weekends. And maybe bring a better camera than I did if you want good photos!
It’s not a massive exhibit, so it’s a good half-day activity. It is worth a quick look, for sure!
