So, I needed to book a trip recently, and as usual, I wanted to find the best deals possible. I’ve gotten pretty good at using those travel aggregator sites, you know, the ones that search multiple airlines and hotels at once. Let me walk you through what I did, maybe it’ll help you save some cash on your next trip.
Picking My Go-To Aggregators
First things first, I headed over to a couple of my favorite aggregator websites. There are a bunch out there. I usually use two or three, just to compare what they find.
Starting My Flight Search
Next, I started with the flights. I punched in my departure and arrival cities, and my travel dates. Make sure you’re flexible with dates if you can be. Sometimes flying a day earlier or later can save you a ton.
I also like to play around with the filters. I usually set a maximum number of stops, ’cause I hate long layovers. And if you’re picky about airlines, you can usually filter those too.
Moving on to Hotels
Once I had my flights sorted, I moved onto the hotels. I basiclly. Repeated the same process, the location and the dates. I use filter to find hotel to live.
Comparing and Booking
At this point, it’s all about comparing.I find price,time,rate and other elements to decide my flights and hotels.
When I find good price.I book it.
