Okay, here’s my blog post about my experience with “human suspension hooks,” written in a casual, conversational style, as if I’m a blogger sharing my personal journey:

Alright, so, a while back I got REALLY into this idea of human suspension. I’d seen some pictures online, and it just looked… intense. And, you know me, I’m always up for trying something a little out there. So, I started digging.
My first step was just pure, unadulterated Googling. I typed in “human suspension,” “body suspension,” “flesh hooks,” all that good stuff. And man, did I fall down a rabbit hole. Forums, personal websites, some pretty graphic images…it was a lot.
Finding a Crew
What I quickly realized was this wasn’t something I could just DIY in my backyard. Nope. This needed professionals. So I spend days seeking for crews, finally,I found a local group that specialized in suspensions. They had a solid reputation, lots of positive reviews, and, most importantly, they seemed to really, really know what they were doing. I contacted, sent messages and made a phone call with the group, and after chatting with them for a while, I felt comfortable enough to book a session. My heart was POUNDING.
The day of the suspension, I was a mess of nerves and excitement. I’d followed all their pre-suspension instructions – you know, no alcohol, light meals, that sort of thing. Got to the location, I met the team, and they were awesome. Super chill, explained everything, and really put me at ease.
The Process…
First, the marking. They used surgical markers to map out exactly where the hooks would go. This was surprisingly… precise. It wasn’t just random; they were considering my anatomy, weight distribution, all that technical stuff.

Then, the piercing. Okay, I’m not gonna lie, this was the part I was dreading the most. But honestly? It wasn’t as bad as I’d imagined. They used proper sterilization techniques, and the piercer was super quick and efficient. It was more of a sharp pinch and then… pressure. Weird pressure.
After the hooks were in, they attached ropes and rigging to them. It was kind of surreal, seeing these metal hooks sticking out of my skin, connected to ropes. Then, the slow lift began. They used a pulley system, and a couple of people were carefully monitoring the tension and my reactions.
- step 1: Cleansing and marking
- step 2: Piercing
- step 3: Hook insertion
- step 4: Rigging check
- step 5: The lift
And then… I was up. Hanging there. Suspended. The feeling is… hard to describe. It’s a mix of pressure, pulling, and… freedom? It’s intense, for sure, but also strangely… peaceful. It’s like all the weight of the world just… melts away.
I only stayed up for a short time – maybe 15 minutes or so. It was my first time, so they didn’t want to push it. The lowering was just as gradual as the lift, and once I was back on solid ground, I felt… different. A bit shaky, a bit euphoric, and definitely a bit sore.
They cleaned the hook sites, bandaged me up, and gave me detailed aftercare instructions. I followed them to the letter, and everything healed up perfectly.

I’ve done a few suspensions since then, and each time it’s a unique and powerful *’s a really personal thing, and I’d never tell anyone they should do it, but for me, it’s been a strangely transformative experience.
It is an interesting journey to try it.
