OK, let’s talk about my trip to the Samui Airport. Man, what an experience!

First off, I booked my flight online. Easy peasy. I chose a morning flight ’cause I wanted to get there early and enjoy the day. The day before my flight, I packed my bags – just the essentials, you know? Swimsuit, sunscreen, a few shirts, and shorts. I also made sure to charge my phone and camera.
On the day of the flight, I woke up super early. I was excited! I double-checked everything, grabbed a quick breakfast, and called a taxi to take me to the airport. The ride was smooth, no traffic.
Once I got to the airport, I headed straight to check-in. There was a bit of a line, but it moved pretty fast. I checked in my bag, got my boarding pass, and went through security. No issues there, thankfully.
After security, I had some time to kill, so I walked around the shops. I didn’t buy anything, just browsed. Then I found a nice little cafe and grabbed a coffee and a pastry. It was a nice way to relax before the flight. I have to say that the food price in the airport is very expensive, even for a bottle of drinking water.
When it was time to board, I headed to the gate. Everything was on time, which was great. I boarded the plane, found my seat, and settled in. The flight was pretty smooth. I mostly just looked out the window and enjoyed the view. I also listened to some music and read a bit.

Finally, we landed in Samui. The airport there is pretty small, but it’s nice. It has this open-air design, which is cool. I deplaned, walked through the airport, and headed to baggage claim. My bag was one of the first ones out, which was a relief.
Getting to the Hotel
- Once I had my bag, I went outside to find a taxi.
- There were plenty of taxis waiting, so I didn’t have to wait long.
- I showed the driver the address of my hotel, and we were off.
- The taxi ride was nice. I got to see some of the island on the way.
- Finally, we arrived at the hotel.
And that was it! My journey to Samui Airport was pretty smooth and hassle-free. Just the way I like it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comment!
