Alright, folks, let’s talk about my little adventure to the beaches of Corsica. I’d been seeing pictures of this place for ages, all turquoise water and white sand, so I finally decided, “Screw it, I’m going!”

Getting There
First things first, I had to figure out how to even get to Corsica. It’s an island, obviously, so flying or taking a ferry were my options. I looked at flights, compared prices, and ended up booking a flight because it saved a bit time. Nothing fancy, just a regular economy ticket.
Beach Hopping
Once I landed, it was all about hitting those beaches. I didn’t have a super strict plan, I sort of just wanted to explore.
- Palombaggia Beach: Okay, this was one of the beaches I had seen in pictures, and let me tell you, it lived up to the hype. Seriously, the water was unbelievably clear, like looking through glass. I spent a good chunk of a day just swimming and chilling out there.
- Santa Giulia Beach: Another stunner! This one had a bit more of a shallow, lagoon-like feel, which was great for just wading around. I grabbed a drink at a beachside bar and just soaked it all in.
- Rondinara Beach: A friend had told me I had to visit a beach in a perfectly round bay. Found it! Rondinara was such a unique-looking spot. The water was calm, and I walked around, and I just really enjoyed the view.
Beyond the Beaches
I did a little more than just lay on the beach. I am very active and do not want to get bored. I also did the following:
- Walked around Bonifacio: I love a good walk. The town itself is awesome, built right on these cliffs.
- Ate some good food: I’m a big fan of trying local food, so I made sure to sample some Corsican specialties. I found a place that made this amazing seafood stew.
Wrapping Up
Honestly, the whole trip was pretty simple. I flew in, I found some beaches, I swam, I ate, I walked around, and then I flew home. It wasn’t some crazy, action-packed adventure, but it was exactly what I needed – a relaxing getaway to a beautiful place. If you’re looking for some seriously gorgeous beaches and a chill vibe, Corsica is definitely worth checking out. Just remember to bring your swimsuit, sunscreen, and a good appetite!
