Okay, so I’ve always been a HUGE festival-goer. Music, food, art – you name it, I’m there. But over the years, I’ve learned that not all festivals are created equal. Some are epic, life-changing experiences, and others… well, let’s just say they’re better left un-attended. So, I decided to put together my own little system for finding the BEST outdoor festivals around the world.

Step 1: Figuring Out What I’m Into
First things first, I gotta know what I’m looking for. Am I craving a massive music festival with headliners I love? Or am I more in the mood for a chill, local food and craft beer fest? This time, I decided to find out the big music festival.
Step 2: The Deep Dive (aka Googling Like Crazy)
Once I know my vibe, I hit the internet. I started searching the popular music festivals online, reading blog posts(tons of blog posts), checking out festival websites, and, of course, diving into social media.
Step 3: Checking the Vibe
Looking at pictures and videos is huge. Like, are people smiling? Does it look organized? Crowded but not too crowded? I try to picture myself there. Does it feel right? Because, seriously, bad vibes are a dealbreaker.
Step 4: Checking out practical things
I started to figure out the dates, locations, and ticket prices, thinking about how all of that fits into my * I get time off work? Can I afford the flights and accommodation?
Step 5: Making a Decision
I have created my own list and chose the one that ticks the most boxes and makes my heart beat a little faster.

Step 6: Booking and prepartion
I started to book the tickets, figuring out my accommodation, and thinking about packing. It’s all about being prepared, you know? Comfortable shoes, sunscreen, maybe a portable charger… the essentials!
Finally, Attending a few festivals, I gotta say, this whole process? Totally worth it. Finding those hidden gems, those unforgettable experiences… that’s what it’s all about. And hey, sharing my method with you all? That’s just part of the fun!
