So, I was planning this trip to Marrakech, right? Super excited, dreaming of spices and bustling markets. But then came the boring part: booking flights. I’m plugging in “Marrakech” into the flight search engine, and it’s giving me…nothing. Just a blank stare, like I’d asked it to solve a riddle.
I tried a few different variations, “Marrakesh,” “Marrakech, Morocco,” even just “Morocco,” in despiration. Still nothing. It was seriously starting to feel like a conspiracy. Like the internet just didn’t want me to get to Morocco.

It became pretty obvious pretty quick. Marrakech’s airport code is RAK. Seriously, that’s it. RAK. All that fuss for three little letters!

So, yeah, lesson learned. When in doubt, go for the airport code. And for Marrakech, remember it’s RAK. Don’t make the same mistake I did and spend a lot of time.!
