Okay, here’s my blog post about figuring out the Bahrain Airport location, written in a casual, personal style:

So, I was planning this trip, right? And Bahrain was on the list. Cool, I thought, but where exactly is the airport? I mean, I know it’s in Bahrain, duh, but like, where in Bahrain? I didn’t want to end up miles away from where I needed to be.
First thing I did? I Googled it. You know, the usual “Bahrain Airport” search. The map popped up, showing it on this island, Muharraq. Okay, that’s a start. It looked pretty close to Manama, which is the capital, so that seemed promising.
But I wanted to be sure. So I went a little deeper. I started looking at different map views. Satellite view, street view, you name it. Just to get a feel for the surroundings. I wanted to visualize it.
Here is my found:
- It is quite easy to find the airport.
- The airport looks prety big.
- The location is easy.
I’ve been burned before, you see. One time, I booked a hotel that was supposedly “near” the airport, and it turned out to be a 45-minute taxi ride. No thanks! I’m not making that mistake again.
So, after poking around on the map, zooming in and out, I felt pretty confident. It really is close to Manama. Like, a short drive, from what I can tell. I’m feeling much better about my airport transfer plans now. No crazy long taxi rides for me!

I spent like maybe 20 minutes, and I was pretty sure I had a good handle on it. No biggie!
