Okay, so, today I decided to dive into the world of, uh, “asian feet models.” Yeah, I know, it sounds a bit out there, but hey, I was curious. Don’t judge!
First, I gotta say, finding references was… a journey. I started with a simple image search, just typing in the phrase. Let’s just say the results were a mixed bag. A very mixed bag. I quickly learned that I needed to be more specific with my search terms.
I refined my search, adding words like “artistic,” “photography,” and “poses.” This definitely helped filter out some of the, shall we say, less desirable content. I also tried different image search engines, cause, you know, they all show different stuff.
Then I stumbled upon some, uh, dedicated forums and communities. (No, I won’t name them. Find them yourself!) I mostly just lurked, reading posts and looking at how other people were approaching this, um, niche. It was kinda awkward, not gonna lie. Some of these people are really into it. I just wanted some decent reference photos!

What I learned
Honestly, this whole thing was a bit of an eye-opener. There’s a whole world out there dedicated to this specific thing. People are passionate, I’ll give them that. But for me, it was just about finding some reference material. And, eventually, I succeeded. Mission accomplished, I guess?
It was a weird afternoon. I think I’ll stick to drawing landscapes next time. Maybe some fluffy clouds.
