Okay, so, I wanted to get a handle on what the weather’s usually like in LA during March. I’ve heard it can be kinda all over the place, so I started by just, you know, checking some online weather websites.

I looked at the averages first – high temperatures, low temperatures, rainfall, all that stuff. Just to get a general idea, right?
- Checked average highs.
- Checked average lows.
- Looked at average rainfall.
- Noticed the number of sunny days.
Then, I figured it’d be smart to see how things have actually been in recent years. I dug into historical weather data for, like, the past five years of March in LA. You see everything that way – the really hot days, the unusually cold ones, and whether it rained a ton one year or was super dry.
My Deep Dive
I basically spent a couple of hours just going through weather records, day by day, for each of those past Marches. It was kinda tedious, but I started to see patterns. Some years were definitely wetter than others, and there were always a few days that were way hotter or colder than the average.
After gathering all that,I can get a pretty good picture that the weather is mild and the sunshine is not bad, but sometimes have rain.

So yeah, that’s how I went about figuring out the March weather in LA. It wasn’t rocket science, just a bit of digging and comparing. Now I feel way more prepared for what to expect – and what to pack!
