Okay, so I wanted to dig into something I’ve been curious about – the people from Delaware. It’s a small state, and sometimes I feel like it gets overlooked. So, I decided to do a little research and see what I could find out.

I started with a simple thing, just figuring out what exactly makes someone a “person from Delaware.” Seems obvious, right? But I wanted to be thorough. Was it about being born there? Living there currently? Or something else entirely?
Then I moved on to looking at some basic demographics. I checked the population, how it’s changed over time, the different groups of people living there, and where they mostly live within the state.
I spent some time reading up on Delaware’s history. Who were the first people to settle there? What were the major events that shaped the state and its population?
- I learned about the Native American tribes that originally inhabited the area.
- I found out how Delaware came to be one of the original thirteen colonies.
I also tried to get a sense of what it’s like to live in Delaware today. What are the main industries? What’s the cost of living like? Are there any particular cultural aspects unique to the state?
Finally, I wanted to see if I could identify any famous or notable people who hail from Delaware. I figured this would give me a better sense of the state’s impact on the wider world.

I searched for list and articles, and the result I could find, there are some known people from Delaware.
It was a pretty interesting project. I definitely learned a lot more about Delaware and its people than I knew before. Turns out, there’s more to this small state than meets the eye!
