Okay, here’s my experience with Kotoka International Airport in Accra, Ghana, shared in a blog-post style:

So, I recently flew into Accra, Ghana, landing at the Kotoka International Airport. I’ve gotta say, it was an… interesting experience. Let me walk you through it.
The Arrival
First off, I got off the plane. Stepping onto the tarmac, I immediately felt that warm, humid air. It’s definitely different from where I came from! The airport itself, from the outside, looked pretty modern.
- Getting through immigration: It was a bit of a wait. There were a few lines, and it seemed like things were moving kinda slowly. I filled out the arrival card – name, passport details, purpose of visit, all that usual stuff. Make sure you have a pen!
- Baggage claim: I found the carousel for my flight. It took a while for the bags to start coming out. Just had to be patient, I guess. Eventually, I spotted my suitcase and grabbed it.
Getting Out of the Airport
Next up, I moved to get a taxi. The is just outside the exit.
- Got myself one taxi, showed him the address, negotiated a reasonable price and we were off.
Overall Impression
All the above is what I experienced. The airport did it’s job!
