My Athens October Plan & What Actually Went Down

I packed a mix of clothes – some t-shirts, a couple of light sweaters, a decent jacket for the evenings, and comfy walking shoes. That was key, the comfy shoes.

Mornings had a little chill, enough to make you glad you had a light jacket on if you were out early for a coffee. But as the sun climbed, things warmed up beautifully. I remember walking up to the Acropolis. It was still a climb, don’t get me wrong, but I wasn’t drenched in sweat. So, What’s the Verdict on October Weather?
Based on my trip, I’d say October is a fantastic time to visit Athens if you’re there for the sights and the city experience. Here’s a quick rundown of what I found:
