My Actual Transfer Experience
So, here’s how it went down.
I landed in Terminal 1, feeling a bit apprehensive. But, once I got off the plane, I just follow the signs. Because I made myself very aware before traveling.
- Finding the Shuttle: I looked for the “Terminal Transfer” signs, which were pretty clear, thankfully. They were in both German and English, so no problems there.

- Riding the Shuttle: The shuttle ride itself was smooth and only took a few minutes.
- Arriving at Terminal 2:I finally arrived.
My Final Thoughts
Honestly, it was totally fine! I think the key is just to be prepared and know what to expect. If you’re flying through Munich and need to transfer between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, it’s totally doable.
