So, I wanted to book a flight for my summer vacation, and you know how it is – prices are all over the place. I didn’t want to spend hours jumping between different airline websites, so I decided to find a better way. I needed tools to compare flight prices across multiple airlines, all in one go.

My Starting Point
First, I just did a simple search. I typed something like “best flight comparison tools” and a bunch of names popped up.
Digging Deeper
I started checking out a few of the popular ones. I quickly realized some were better for international flights, while others were stronger for domestic routes. So, I made a note of that.
Experimenting with Features
Then, I got into playing with the features. Here’s what I looked for and tried:
- Flexible Dates: I’m pretty open about when I travel, so I wanted to see prices for a whole month, not just specific days.
- Multiple Airports: I live near a couple of airports, so I wanted the option to check flights from all of them at once.
- Filters: I’m not a fan of super long layovers, so I used filters to set a maximum layover time. I also played with filtering by the number of stops.
- Price Alerts:I set up the Price tracking Alerts.
The End Result
After testing everything out, I have set up a list of tools with price * I can find the flight that suits me.
