Getting Started with That Special Bake
Alright, so I decided to try my hand at this thing. Heard a lot about it, figured why not give it a shot myself? Always better to do it yourself than rely on, well, you know. Plus, I like baking, even though sometimes it feels like the kitchen just explodes.

Poured the batter into a greased pan. Looked pretty normal, like any other cake batter. Maybe a bit greener? Hard to tell sometimes.
Then into the oven it went. Set the timer. The waiting part is always tough. The kitchen started smelling… interesting. Not quite like normal cake, not quite like the butter prep. Something in between.
Checked it with a toothpick, came out clean. Classic baker move. Pulled it out, let it cool on a rack. Looked decent enough. No major disasters, didn’t sink in the middle or burn to a crisp. Small victories, eh?
The Result and Thoughts
So, there it was. A finished cannabis cake. Looked okay, smelled… unique. I cut a small piece later on. Gotta be careful with dosage, everyone says that, and they’re right. It’s not like eating a regular slice of chocolate cake where you can just wolf it down.
It’s funny, you see all these complicated recipes online, people acting like it’s rocket science. Making infused butter, then baking a simple cake. That’s basically it. Reminds me of my first job trying to follow ridiculously complex coding standards that made no sense for a simple task. Everyone trying to sound smart instead of just getting the job done simply. Sometimes, the simplest way is actually the best way. This baking project kinda proved that point again for me. Just follow the basic steps, be patient, pay attention to the important bits (like the butter infusion), and it usually turns out fine. No need to overcomplicate things.
