Okay, so, I’ve been thinking a lot about food lately, especially after that last trip to Mexico. Man, that country’s got some amazing eats! But it also got me wondering: which state in Mexico actually has the worst food? It’s a tough question, right? So, I decided to dive deep and figure it out. Here’s how I did it.

First, I hit up the internet. You know, just poked around on forums, read some blogs, and checked out what people were saying on social media. Lots of opinions, let me tell you! Some folks were really passionate about their favorite regional cuisines, while others were pretty harsh on certain places. I made a list of the states that kept coming up as having not-so-great food.

Next, I reached out to some friends who are either from Mexico or have spent a good chunk of time there. I also asked around in a couple of online communities dedicated to Mexican food. I figured these folks would have some firsthand experience and could give me the real lowdown. I asked them straight up which state they thought had the worst food and why. Some answers were what I thought while others were surprising.

But a lot of folks seem to think the food there is kind of “meh” compared to other parts of Mexico. Maybe one day I will go there and try it myself.
Of course, this is all just one guy’s opinion. Food is super personal, and what one person finds bland, another might find delicious. And hey, maybe Tlaxcala’s got some hidden culinary gems that I just haven’t heard about yet. But for now, based on my little investigation, it seems like Tlaxcala might be the state with the “worst” food in Mexico, at least according to the internet and a few folks I talked to.
