Okay, so last night I had this crazy dream about a car accident. I don’t usually remember my dreams, but this one was so vivid, I just had to write it down. So, here’s what I did.

Jotting Down the Basics
First thing, as soon as I woke up, I grabbed my phone. I didn’t even get out of bed. I opened the notes app and just started typing whatever I could remember. It was all jumbled up at first, just fragments of images and feelings.
- Blurry red car
- Sound of screeching tires (so loud!)
- Feeling of weightlessness
- A flashing,blue light,so dazzling
- I was a child
I typed as fast as I could, just getting the main points down before they faded away. It wasn’t pretty, just a bunch of keywords and short phrases.
Fleshing Out the Details
Later, after I’d had my coffee and was properly awake, I went back to my notes. I started to expand on those initial scribbles. I tried to put the pieces together in a logical order, like a story.
I added details like where I thought the dream was taking place (it looked like the street I grew up on), and who else was there (I think I saw my mom, but she looked younger). I also tried to capture the emotions I felt during the dream – fear, confusion, a strange sense of calm right before the “impact.”
Making Sense of It (Maybe?)
After writing everything down, I read it through a few times. Honestly, it still didn’t make a lot of sense. Dreams are weird, right? But I felt like I had captured the essence of it, the important parts.

I’m not sure what I’ll do with this “dream journal” entry. Maybe I’ll look up some dream interpretations online, just for fun. Or maybe I’ll just leave it there as a reminder of that one crazy night.
The most important thing is that I was able to hold some memory about it by recording what I had done.
