So, I got this idea to try out feet modeling. I’ve always been told I have nice feet, and I figured, why not see if I could make a little extra cash with them? Here’s how it all went down.

Getting Started
First, I did some quick online searches to see what this whole feet modeling thing was about. I read a few articles and browsed some forums to get an idea of what people were looking for. It seemed straightforward enough – take some pictures of your feet, post them online, and hope someone likes them enough to pay.
Prepping My Feet
I knew I had to make my feet look their best, so I started with a good pedicure. I soaked my feet in warm water with some Epsom salts, scrubbed them with a pumice stone, and trimmed my nails. Then, I applied a nice moisturizer to make them soft and smooth. I even painted my toenails a bright, cheerful red – figured it would catch some eyes.
Taking the Photos
This was the fun part. I set up a little photo area in my living room with some nice, natural light. I used my phone since it has a pretty decent camera. I tried a bunch of different poses –
- soles up
- arches flexed
- toes pointed
- feet crossed
I even got a bit creative and draped some silk fabric around my feet for a few shots. I took a ton of photos, making sure to get different angles and lighting.
Choosing the Best Shots
After I was done, I went through all the photos and picked out the best ones. I looked for clear, well-lit shots that showed off my feet in a flattering way. I ended up with about 20 solid pictures that I was happy with.

Posting the Photos
Next, I created an account on one of those sites. I wrote a short, catchy bio and uploaded my photos. I made sure to tag them with relevant keywords so people could find them easily.
Waiting Game
Now came the waiting. I checked my account regularly, hoping to see some interest. It was a bit slow at first, but then I started getting messages. Some were just compliments, but a few were actual offers. It was pretty exciting!
Making a Sale
I finally made my first sale! Someone wanted to buy a custom photo set of my feet in a specific pose with a certain nail polish color. We agreed on a price, and I got to work. I took the photos, sent them over, and received the payment. It felt pretty awesome to make money from something so simple.
What I Learned
This whole feet modeling thing was a fun experiment. It’s not going to make me rich, but it’s a nice little side hustle. I learned that presentation is key – good lighting, clear photos, and a bit of creativity go a long way. It’s also important to be patient and not get discouraged if things are slow at first.
Overall, it was a positive experience. I’m going to keep at it and see where it goes. Who knows, maybe I’ll become the next big foot model sensation! Or maybe not, but it’s fun either way.
