Okay, so I’ve been thinking about hitting up some of the big cultural events in London. I mean, London’s always buzzing, right? But I wanted to experience the really big stuff, the things that everyone talks about.

First, I grabbed my laptop and started, you know, Googling. Just typing in stuff like “biggest cultural events London” and seeing what popped up. I made a messy list in my notebook – just jotting down names of events that sounded interesting, nothing fancy.
Digging Deeper
Then I started looking into each event individually. What I wanted find is the time and the specific vibe of each one. Some of them, I realized, were more like year-round things, and I wanted the specific, time-limited events.
I spent a good few hours on this, honestly. It felt a bit like planning a mini-vacation, even though I live here! I looked at photos, read some blog posts from people who’d been, and tried to get a sense of what to expect.
Making My Choices
My list got smaller as I went. Some events just didn’t seem like my thing. Maybe they were too crowded, or too focused on something I’m not super into. It’s all about personal preference, right?
Finally, I had a shortlist. These were the events that I felt were:

- Big and well-known: The kind of thing you’d regret missing.
- Interesting to me: No point going to something just because it’s popular.
- Actually doable: Some things were too expensive, or the tickets were impossible to get.
So, yeah, that’s basically my process. It wasn’t super scientific, but it was thorough. Now I’ve got my plan, and I’m pretty excited to actually go and experience these events. Will keep you updated on how it goes!
