Okay, so today I’m gonna ramble on about some eco-friendly stuff I’ve been trying out. It’s not perfect, but hey, every little bit helps, right?

My Eco-Friendly Adventures: From Zero Waste-ish to On-the-Go Green
First off, I started small. I was tired of all the plastic crap piling up. So, I grabbed some reusable shopping bags. Seriously, how many plastic bags does one person need? I stash them in my car, so I always have them when I hit the grocery store.
Then, I got myself a water bottle. A proper one, not those flimsy plastic things. Now I just fill it up at home before I head out. Saves a ton of money and keeps plastic bottles out of the trash. I even added a little carabiner to clip it to my bag. Super handy!
Next up was coffee. I used to grab a takeaway coffee cup every single day. All those cups, all that waste! So, I invested in a travel mug. Find one you actually like using, because if it’s a pain in the butt, you won’t use it. My local coffee shop even gives me a small discount for bringing my own mug, bonus!
Okay, so I started thinking about lunch. I was packing sandwiches in plastic bags. Nope. I got myself some reusable containers. Easy to wash, stackable, and they keep my food fresh. I also invested in a reusable lunch bag. Now my lunch is more organized, and I’m not contributing to the plastic bag mountain.
When I’m out and about, I try to walk or bike whenever possible. It’s good exercise, and it’s way better for the environment than driving everywhere. Plus, you see so much more when you’re not stuck in a car.

I also try to say no to straws. Most of the time, I don’t even need one. And if I do, I have a reusable metal straw that I carry with me. It’s a tiny thing, but it makes a difference.
And then there’s the whole shopping thing. I try to buy local and support small businesses. They often have more eco-friendly products and practices. Plus, it’s just nice to support your community.
It’s not always easy, and I still slip up sometimes. But I’m making progress, and that’s what matters. It’s all about making small changes and sticking with them.
So yeah, that’s my eco-friendly journey so far. Hope it gives you some ideas on how to be a little greener on the go. Now, go forth and save the planet, one reusable bag at a time!
