Alright folks, so I recently had to fly through Turin Caselle Airport (TRN) in Italy, and let me tell you, it was a bit of an experience. I figured I’d share my journey, in case any of you are planning a trip that takes you through there.
First off, getting there. I grabbed a local bus from the city center. Figured it’d be cheaper than a taxi, and I wasn’t in a huge rush. It was pretty straightforward, just hopped on at the main bus station, and it dropped me right outside the terminal. Not bad at all.
Then came the check-in. It wasn’t too crowded when I arrived, which was a relief. Found my airline’s counter, and the agent was pretty efficient. Got my boarding pass sorted, and I was on my way to security.
Security check… Okay, this is where things got a little interesting. Let’s just say the Italians take their security seriously. Had to take everything out of my bag – laptop, liquids, even my belt. But hey, better safe than sorry, right?
After surviving security, I wandered around the departure lounge. It’s not the biggest airport I’ve ever been to, but it had the basics. A few shops selling souvenirs and snacks, and some cafes where you could grab a coffee and a pastry. I treated myself to an espresso – when in Italy, right?
Boarding was fairly smooth. They called my gate, and everyone lined up. No major delays, which was a win. Got settled on the plane, and we were off.

- Give yourself plenty of time. Airports can be unpredictable, so it’s always better to arrive early than to rush and stress out.

Finally, landing back home. After a long trip, I was so happy when the plane landed. A quick taxi to my house and i just passed out in my bed.
