Today, I wanna talk about this awesome Swedish fighter, Madeleine Vall Beijner. I got really into her stuff and just had to try some of it out myself.

First off, I started digging into her background. Turns out, she’s not just a fighter, she’s also an actress! She was even in Wonder Woman. How cool is that? So, I watched a bunch of her interviews and fight videos. I gotta say, watching her train was intense. She was doing multiple sessions a day, and it looked tiring!
Trying to Follow Her Routine
I decided, maybe a bit foolishly, to try and follow a similar routine. I mean, I’m no professional fighter, but how hard could it be, right? Well, let me tell you, it was way harder than I thought.
- Morning Session: I started with some cardio. Running, jumping jacks, the whole deal. It was tough, but manageable.
- Afternoon Session: I tried some light sparring with a friend. We’re both pretty bad at it, so it wasn’t exactly like Madeleine’s fights, but it was still a workout. I was already sweating.
- Evening Session: I tried to add some strength training, lifting some weights, doing push-ups and sit-ups. I was totally spent by this point.
I kept this up for a few days. And boy, did I feel it. Every muscle in my body was screaming. I was exhausted all the time. And then I started watching her interviews again, and she was talking about how the real challenge was doing take after take for acting. That made me think about how demanding her whole life was, not just the fighting part.
Realization Kicked In
After a while, I realized that trying to copy Madeleine’s routine exactly was just crazy. She’s a professional athlete and an actress, at the top of her game. I’m just a regular person who enjoys watching her work. It’s her life. I finally gave up.

So, I’ve scaled back. I’m still working out, but at my own pace. I’m taking inspiration from Madeleine, not trying to be her. And you know what? I’m enjoying it a lot more this way. I learned a lot about discipline and hard work, but also about listening to my own body. It’s a good balance.
In the end, I have even more respect for Madeleine Vall Beijner now. She’s a true inspiration. But I’ve also learned that it’s important to find your own path and do what works for you. It’s all about finding that sweet spot between pushing yourself and being kind to yourself.
It’s good for me. That’s it.
