Okay, so I’ve been wanting to get into crystals lately, and I kept seeing “celestite” pop up. It’s this gorgeous light blue color, and everyone says it’s super calming. So, I decided to finally get one and see what the hype was all about. This is my little journey with it.

Finding My Celestite
First, I went to this little metaphysical shop downtown – you know, the kind with incense burning and dreamcatchers everywhere. I looked around, and they had tons of crystals, but I was on a mission. I asked the lady working there for celestite, and she showed me a few options.
- Some were tiny, almost like pebbles.
- Others were bigger, more like the size of my palm.
- Some were rough, and some were polished into smooth egg shapes.
I ended up picking a medium-sized, rough piece. It just felt right. It wasn’t perfectly shaped, but it had this beautiful, raw energy. I paid for it (it wasn’t too expensive, thankfully!), and took it home.
Getting to Know It
Once I got home, I cleansed the celestite. I’d read online that you should do this to clear any old energy. I just ran it under some cool water for a few minutes, visualizing any negativity washing away. Then, I patted it dry with a soft cloth. I then put them on the window sill and the sun shined on it through the glass,I thought it should be beautiful.
I started carrying it around with me, sometimes in my pocket, sometimes just holding it in my hand. I even put it on my nightstand while I slept. Honestly, at first, I didn’t notice anything huge. But over time, I started feeling… calmer. Like, when things got stressful at work, I would hold the celestite and just breathe, and it really did seem to help me center myself.
My Takeaway
It’s not magic, obviously. But I do think the celestite helped me become more mindful. It’s like a little reminder to take a moment, breathe, and not get so caught up in the chaos. Plus, it’s just really pretty to look at! I’m definitely going to keep using it and see how it goes. Maybe I’ll even get another one!
