Okay, so I’ve always been a HUGE theater fan. I mean, who doesn’t love a good live performance? I recently decided to do some digging and find the absolute best theater festivals around the world. My goal? To eventually hit them all, of course! Here’s how my little research project went down:
First Steps: Google, Duh!
I started, naturally, with a simple Google search. You know, “best theater festivals,” “top arts festivals,” stuff like that. I got a bunch of listicles and blog posts, which was a good starting point, but honestly, a little overwhelming.
Making My Own List
I grabbed a notebook and started jotting down the names that kept popping up. I quickly realized some festivals were more about performing arts in general (music, dance, etc.), while others were super focused on theater. I decided to focus on the theater-centric ones for now.
Checking them one by one
After having the list, I started checking every festival that I wrote down. I checked their history, their past celebreates, and how big the theater is.
Narrowing It Down
After the check, I found several names are the greatest. I have made my mind to visit these first, since they are the top ones.
Dreaming of the Future
Now comes the fun part – actually planning trips to these festivals! It’s going to take some time (and money!), but I’m already picturing myself in those amazing theaters, soaking up the atmosphere. Wish me luck!
