Okay, so today I decided to hit up Cabbage Beach in the Bahamas. I’d heard so much about it, you know, pictures all over the internet, and I just had to see it for myself.

First things first, I did some digging. Find out where is this beach, how i got here, etc. Seems easy to reach this paradise beach.
So, I hopped in a taxi. Told the driver, “Cabbage Beach, please!” We chatted a bit about the island – he gave me some local tips, which was cool.
Getting There
The ride itself wasn’t too long. When we started to go near the beach, I began to be exciting!
The Beach Itself
Wow. Seriously, wow. The pictures don’t even do it justice. The sand was, like, ridiculously white and soft. It felt amazing between my toes. And the water? Forget about it. So many shades of blue and turquoise, crystal clear… I just stood there for a minute, taking it all in.
I found a spot to set up my towel, not too crowded, which was nice. Then, I just… relaxed. I swam a bit – the water was the perfect temperature. I did some people-watching. There were families building sandcastles, couples strolling along the shore, and some folks just chilling under umbrellas, like me.

Things to Do
- Swimming: Obviously! The water is calm and inviting.
- Sunbathing: Plenty of space to spread out and soak up the sun.
- Walking: The beach stretches for quite a way, perfect for a leisurely stroll.
- Water sports: I saw some people jet skiing and parasailing further down the beach.
I spent a good few hours there, just soaking up the sun and the vibes. Honestly, it was exactly what I needed. A perfect beach day.
Leaving Paradise
Eventually, it was time to head back. I grabbed my stuff, took one last look at the incredible view, and flagged down another taxi.
All in all, Cabbage Beach totally lived up to the hype. It’s one of those places you just have to experience for yourself. If you’re ever in the Bahamas, definitely put it on your list!
