Okay, so today I decided to tackle the “Brazilian Sandwich.” I’d seen pictures of these monster sandwiches online, and I was like, “I gotta try that!”

Getting Started
First things first, I needed to figure out what actually goes into one of these things. I found that there were many variations. So, I just kinda winged it based on what looked good and what I had on hand.
Gathering My Ingredients
I raided my fridge and pantry. This is what I grabbed:
- Bread: I used a big, crusty loaf , ’cause it needed to hold a lot of stuff.
- Meats: I had some ham and, mortadella. Figured that was a good start.
- Cheese: I used mozzarella.
- Veggies: Lettuce, tomato, were all I found at home.
- Sauce: I used some mayo and some of mustard.
The Building Process
This was the fun part, but also kinda tricky. I sliced the loaf in half, lengthwise. Then I started layering:
- Spread the mayo and mustard on both sides of the bread. Gotta have that flavor base, you know?
- Piled on the ham and mortadella.
- Added the cheese.
- Layered in the lettuce, tomato.
- Put another layer of cheese.
- Finally put some ham.
I pressed the top half of the bread down as hard as I could without squishing everything out. It was HUGE!
The Final Result
Honestly, it was a bit of a mess to eat, but in the best way possible. All the flavors mixed together really well, and the crusty bread gave it a nice crunch.
Would I make it again? Totally. But maybe next time I’ll invite some friends to help me eat it, because that thing was a beast!
