Okay, so this morning I decided to try making a “Greek Breakfast.” I’d seen some pictures online and it looked pretty tasty and healthy, so I figured, why not?

Getting Started
First, I grabbed all the stuff I thought I’d need. I wasn’t following a super strict recipe, just kind of winging it based on what I remembered seeing.
- Greek yogurt (the thick, plain kind)
- Honey
- Some walnuts I found in the cupboard
- A cucumber
- A tomato
- Some olives (kalamata, because those are my favorite)
- Feta cheese
Putting it Together
I started by chopping up the cucumber and tomato into little bite-sized pieces. I just tossed those in a bowl.
Then, I added a handful of the olives. I love olives, so I probably put in a few extra. No big deal.
Next, I crumbled some feta cheese over the top. I didn’t measure anything, just eyeballed it. Again used lot of cheese, because…cheese.
In a separate bowl, I scooped out a big dollop of the Greek yogurt. I drizzled some honey over it, not too much, just enough to make it a little sweet.

I crushed the walnuts a bit with my hands and sprinkled them on top of the yogurt and honey.
The Final Result
I ended up with two bowls: one with the yogurt, honey, and walnuts, and another with the cucumber, tomato, olives, and feta. And that’s it. Greek breakfast!
It was actually pretty good! The yogurt was creamy and the honey and walnuts added some sweetness and crunch. The other bowl was salty and savory, and the feta was, well, amazing as always. I think I’ll try to prepare this breakfast more often in the future!
