Okay, so today I wanted to figure out this whole “Bansko location” thing. I’ve been seeing it pop up everywhere, and I’m planning a trip, so I figured, why not dive in?

First, I grabbed my phone and opened up my go-to map app. You know, the one everyone uses. I typed in “Bansko” and… boom! There it was, nestled in Bulgaria. I zoomed in a bit, checking out the surroundings.
Getting My Bearings
- It’s in the mountains, that’s for sure! I saw lots of green and those squiggly lines that mean elevation.
- I noticed a river running through it – probably good for some pretty views.
- I started looking at the surrounding, and found that it is next to Pirin National Park.
Next, I switched to satellite view. This is where things get real. I could see the actual town layout, the buildings, the roads… everything! I spent a good amount of time just exploring virtually, getting a feel for the place.
Then I started to look at the layout and structure of the town.
I could see ski runs! and a lot of hotels and places to stay!.

So, after all that digital exploring, I feel like I have a much better grasp of Bansko’s location. It’s not just a pin on a map anymore; it’s a real place with mountains, a river, and a bunch of stuff I’m excited to check out in person!
