Okay, so I decided to figure out the holidays in Venezuela. You’d think it’s simple, right? Just type it in and bam, there you go. Well, not always as cut-and-dried as all that, let me tell you.
My First Go-Around
My first step, naturally, was to hit up the usual search engines. And yeah, a ton of results popped up. Pages and pages. Some looked official, some looked like they were put together by, well, who knows who. It’s the internet, after all.
The thing is, you start clicking, and you see one site lists these holidays, another one has a slightly different set. Then you’ve got some that mention regional stuff, which, okay, good to know, but I was after the main national ones. In the end, I got a pretty solid list together for him. The main dates, what they were for, the whole shebang. He was pretty happy, managed to send his greeting on time.
