Alright, let’s talk about Keawakapu Beach. This place is a real gem, tucked away in Maui, and I stumbled upon it kind of by accident.
So, it all started with me just cruising around, trying to find a good spot to chill for the day. I had heard a lot about the more popular beaches, but I was in the mood for something a bit more low-key. I drove down some winding roads, passing by all these fancy resorts, and then boom, there it was – a sign for Keawakapu.
First thing I did was park my car in this small lot. It was pretty empty, which was already a good sign. I grabbed my beach towel, some snacks, and headed down the path. It was like walking into a postcard, I swear.
The beach was way bigger than I expected. Long stretch of soft, golden sand. The water was this crazy clear blue, like, you could see straight to the bottom. I walked along the shore for a bit, just taking it all in. Not too many people around, which was perfect.
I found a nice spot under a palm tree, laid down my towel, and just relaxed. The sound of the waves was so calming. I spent some time just lying there, soaking up the sun, and then I decided to go for a swim.
The water was just the right temperature, not too cold, not too warm. I swam around for a while, and then I noticed some people snorkeling near the rocks. I didn’t have any gear, but I still swam over there to check it out. Even without a mask, I could see some colorful fish swimming around.
