Okay, so, I’ve always been into art, right? And I figured, what better way to dive deeper than to check out some international art festivals? So, here’s how I went about it.

Find the Festivals
First thing I did was hit up the internet. I just typed in “global art festivals” and a whole bunch of stuff came up. I made a list of the ones that looked cool and were in places I wouldn’t mind visiting. You know, just normal websites, nothing fancy.
Check the Dates
Next, I looked at the dates for each festival. Some were coming up soon, others were way later in the year. I had to figure out which ones fit my schedule. I mean, I can’t just take off whenever I want, right? So, I narrowed down my list to the festivals that worked time-wise.
Look at the Costs
Then came the not-so-fun part – checking how much it would all cost. I looked up flights and where I could crash for the night. Some places were super expensive, others not so much. It was a bit of a bummer, but I had to cross off a few festivals that were just way out of my budget.
Figure Out the Details
For the festivals that were still in the running, I dug a little deeper. I went to their official websites and read about what kind of art they showcased, how to get tickets, and if they had any special events. Some festivals were more about paintings, others had more performances or sculptures. I wanted to make sure I was picking the ones that really interested me.
Book Everything
Once I made my final choices, it was time to book everything. I bought my flights and found a place to stay. It felt a bit scary to commit, but also super exciting! Then I got my tickets for the festivals. Some were easy to get online, others I had to email for. It was a bit of a hassle, but I got it all sorted.

Plan the Trip
With the big stuff out of the way, I started planning the fun part – what I was going to do besides the festivals. I made a rough plan of other sights I wanted to see, where to eat and all of that. I just got a map and started figuring out how to get around.
Pack My Bags
Finally, it was time to pack! I made sure I had all the essentials, like my camera, comfortable shoes for all the walking I’d be doing, and some basic clothes. Oh, and of course, my passport and tickets.
Go and Have Fun
And then, I was off! The festivals were amazing. I saw so many different kinds of art, met some cool people, and just had a blast. It was definitely an experience I’ll never forget. And that’s the story of how I got to go to some international art festivals. It was a bit of work, but totally worth it!
