So, first, I fired up my trusty browser. No specific search engine, just whatever I had open.
I typed in something like “how to say fuck you in Vietnamese”. I figured that was a decent starting point. I mean, “fuck you” is pretty universal, right?
I scrolled through a bunch of results. Some were just forum threads with people arguing, others were kinda sketchy-looking sites. A waste of time.
Then I remembered, “Hey, isn’t there a phrase for ‘fuck your mother’ that’s super common in some languages?” I’d heard that somewhere. So I modified my search. I added “mother” into the mix.
I started digging through Vietnamese curse word lists and phrase explanations.
I refined my search. This time, I focused specifically on “fuck your father” in Vietnamese. I mean, that’s the whole point, right?
I finally started, and it was a fking rabbit hole.

I finally got the phase,”Địt bố mày”,I try to practice saying * was not that easy at first,but I think it is a very authentic Vietnamese curse.
