If they did have any official footprint there at the time, it must have been incredibly low-profile, maybe something on the publishing or marketing side of things, which, let’s face it, isn’t quite as thrilling as imagining a hidden den of game designers.
I’ll admit, it was a tiny bit of a letdown. You kind of build up these little scenarios in your head, right? But it also made me think. Maybe that’s just the reality of it.
