Okay, so the other day, I was trying to figure out what’s up with people born on December 17th. You know, like, what’s their deal, astrologically speaking?
I started by, you know, just Googling “17 dec zodiac”. I mean, where else do you start, right?
The first few results were pretty straightforward. They all said the same thing: Sagittarius. No surprises there.
Digging a Little Deeper
I went to this one site, don’t remember the name, I wanted to find some common traits of these December 17th folks.
- Optimistic: I think that the search result show the Sagittarius people really like to look on the bright side.

- Independent: My understanding from the search result is that they march to the beat of their own drum, for sure.
- Honest: Sometime, they told the true, maybe it’s not a good idea.
Then I started looking for any differences between, like, early December Sagittarians and late December ones. I found some stuff mentioning “cusps” – you know, when you’re born close to the border between two signs.
From what I get , people born closer to Capricorn (which comes after Sagittarius) might have a bit of that Capricorn seriousness and ambition mixed in.
I spent, like, a good hour just browsing different sites, and reading peoples comment and articles. It was kind of a rabbit hole, honestly. But it was fun!
